KALABAHI-metroalor.com, Kapolda Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) melalui Kapolres Alor AKBP Ari Satmoko,SH,S.I.K, MM mengembalikan hibah tanah seluas 18 hektare (ha) kepada warga masyarakat Desa Kuifana, Kecamatan Abad Selatan, di Mapolres Alor pada 24/1/23.
Bermula Lahan seluas 18 ha tersebut rencananya akan dibangun Polsek abad selatan sehingga dihibahkan oleh tokoh masyarakat desa Kuifana, Karel Karpada, kepada Kapolda NTT Irjen Johni Asadoma saat itu melakukan kunjungan Kerja di Markas Komando Polisi Sektor (Makopolsek) Abad, 28/11/2022
Namun tanah yang terletak di Silamaka mendapat penolakan dari sembilan orang pemilik lahan dari suku Magalat dan malangkabat .
Sebelum penyerahan Kapolres Ari Satmoko mengatakan, Polri tidak ingin penyerahan lahan 18 ha ini memicu konflik di tengah masyarakat. Polri hadir di tengah masyarakat untuk mengamankan situasi kantibmas wilayah, tandasnya
Satmoko mengatakan beberapa waktu yang lalu ada pengaduan terkait kepemilikan lahan tersebut, ada sebagian masyarakat yang merasa ikut memiliki tetapi keberatan kalau tanah tersebut dihibahkan kepada Polri, dan hal tersebut kami laporkan ke pak Kapolda NTT kemudian mendapat pentunjuk untuk segerah mengebalikan, ujar Kapolres Alor.
Hibah tanah, kata Kapolres, kami kembalikan untuk diselesaikan sesama pemilik.
Harus disepakati oleh semua masyarakat jangan sampai ada satu pihak pun yang keberatan, dan harus di kawal oleh Kapospol.
Ia berharap setelah pengembalian tidak ada lagi permasalahan yang timbul lagi. Pengembalian ditandai dengan penyerahan surat hibah kepada Karel Karpada dilanjutkan dengan penandatanganan berita Samuel Kafolamalai dan Abia L malaikari .
