Jakarta, metroalor.com-Ketua Dewan Komisioner OJK Wimboh Santoso dalam acara peluncuran laporan Perkembangan Keuangan Syariah Indonesia (LPKSI) secara virtual di Jakarta pada Selasa 26/4/22 mengatakan,
strategi yang dilakukan industri keuangan syariah mampu menciptakan momentum pemulihan yang dapat mempercepat proses transformasi menuju industri keuangan syariah yang lebih efisien dan kompetitif.
“Ekonomi dan keuangan syariah di Indonesia, baik perbankan syariah, pasar modal syariah maupun Industri Keuangan Non-Bank (IKNB) Syariah telah menunjukkan resiliensi yang menunjang momentum pemulihan,” kata Wimboh.
Laporan tersebut antara lain menjelaskan strategi industri keuangan syariah yang dinilai mampu mempertahankan kinerja dan beradaptasi dengan kondisi sosial ekonomi di masa pandemi yang mengharuskan pelaku ekonomi untuk menyusun strategi yang sesuai agar dapat bertahan.LPKSI tersebut dengan tema, “Menjaga Ketahanan Keuangan Syariah dalam Momentum Pemulihan Ekonomi”.
Data menunjukkan selama tahun 2021, aset industri keuangan syariah telah mencapai Rp2.050,44 triliun atau tumbuh 13,82% year on year (yoy).
Pertumbuhan aset Industri Perbankan Syariah tumbuh 13,94% (yoy) di tahun 2021. OJK terus mendorong penguatan posisi industri perbankan syariah di tengah persaingan perbankan melalui penerbitan berbagai ketentuan akselerasi transformasi digital disertai dengan sinergi perbankan.
Sementara aset Industri Keuangan Non-Bank syariah tumbuh positif sebesar 3,90% (yoy) di tahun 2021. Sedangkan Industri Pasar Modal Syariah menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif yaitu nilai kapitalisasi pasar Indeks Saham Syariah Indonesia (ISSI) mencapai Rp3.983,65 triliun, meningkat sebesar 19,10% (yoy) di tahun 2021.
Untuk memperluas akses keuangan, khususnya bagi masyarakat unbankable di sekitar pesantren, OJK juga terus mengembangkan lembaga pembiayaan mikro berbasis syariah yaitu Bank Wakaf Mikro yang saat ini telah berdiri sebanyak 62 BWM dan tersebar di 20 Provinsi di seluruh Indonesia.
Menurut Wimboh, ketahanan dan kinerja positif industri keuangan syariah harus terus dipertahankan, diantaranya dengan mengakselerasi program-program berupa pengembangan aktivitas keuangan sosial syariah melalui sinergi, inovasi, dan kolaborasi yang diwujudkan dalam pengembangan ekosistem rantai nilai halal.
Untuk mencapai hal itu, OJK telah aktif bersinergi melalui berbagai program, antara lain Gerakan Nasional Bangga Buatan Indonesia. OJK melihat bahwa terdapat banyak sekali potensi di berbagai daerah yang belum tergarap dengan optimal, yang berpeluang dikembangkan melalui peran keuangan Syariah berbasis industri halal, seperti di Sumatera Barat maupun Aceh, baik di sektor pariwisata, kuliner, fashion, maupun handicraft.
“Bila keseluruhan potensi ini dikembangkan secara komprehensif dalam satu ekosistem terintegrasi berbasis digital dari hulu ke hilir dan melibatkan stakeholders lintas sektor, maka kami yakini ekosistem ini dapat memberikan multiplier effect yang tinggi bagi perekonomian,” katanya.
Pencapaian positif keuangan syariah Indonesia dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 juga dicatat kalangan internasional dan berhasil mempertahankan peringkat ke-2 dalam Islamic Finance Development Indicator 2021 yang dipublikasikan oleh Islamic Finance Development Report 2021.
Arah pengembangan sektor keuangan syariah secara umum telah terangkum dalam Roadmap Pengembangan Perbankan Syariah Indonesia 2020-2025 (RP2SI) dan Roadmap Pengembangan Perbankan Indonesia (RP2I) 2021-2025 untuk industri BPR dan BPRS, serta Roadmap Pasar Modal Syariah 2020-2024 (RPMS) bagi sektor pasar modal yang merupakan terjemahan lebih detail dari Master Plan Sektor Jasa Keuangan Indonesia (MPSJKI) 2021-2025.
OJK mengharapkan laporan ini dapat menjadi referensi yang bermanfaat masyarakat luas sekaligus meningkatkan semangat seluruh pihak dalam mendorong ketahanan dan daya saing keuangan syariah untuk mewujudkan cita-cita bersama agar Indonesia mampu menjadi Pusat Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah Dunia.
