M Hum karena dapat menghadiri Puncak acara syukuran 100 tahun injil masuk di Pulau Pura, tepatnya di Palakang, desa Pura timur, kecamatan Pura Kabupaten alor, pada Sabtu 10/6/23.
Bupati Djobo dalam sapaannya mengatakan Pulau pura merupakan tanah kelahiran dan tumbuh besar untuk berkarya dan bekerja untuk hidup baru.
Selain itu, pulau ini merupakan tempat kami mencari rezeki untuk hidup mulai dari laut, pohon tuak, menganyam nyiru dan kegiatan lainnya.
Pulau Pura dijuluki batu karang yang cadas namun bagi masyarakat yang hidup diatas pulau hanya karena anugerah Tuhanlah sampai saat detik ini bersama dengan saudara-saudara lain dapat mensyukuri dan memperingati 100 tahun Injil masuk pura.
“Dari cadas di depanku, datang air yang sejuk. Peristiwa ini merupakan perenungan cukup panjang dari orang-orang tua kami, maka wajib dipelihara terus hingga 100 tahun yang akan datang lagi untuk menjadi bukti toleransi keberagamaan umat kristen islam di sini”, terang Djobo.
Kebersamaan ini patut dijaga dan dipelihara serta diwariskan pada generasi mendatang untuk semua keluarga baik yang berada di tanah rantauan dan telah berikan sumbangan dan suport mendukung sejarah hari ini. Jangan lagi ada pertikaian diantara kita.
Menurut Bupati dua periode ini selama 10 tahun memimpin daerah ini Orang pura tidak pernah membuat satu kerusuhan antara kelompok-kelompok atau agama dibawah kolong langit Kabupaten alor.
Inilah esiensi atau sebuah nilai dimana mengingatkan kita tentang peristiwa 100 tahun injil masuk pura.
Mensyukuri 100 tahun Injil masuk pura pada hari ini, bukan sekedar lego-lego, mendengar khotba dan makan minum lalu pulang, tapi melakukan kegiatan untuk mengangkat harkat martabat orang alor apalagi orang pura, walaupun hidup di atas batu karang namun pikiran kita tidak tandus dan kerdil.Tapi dari pulau inila telah melahirkan orang-orang terhormat di daerah ini.Walaupun sebagian orang anggap Pura Pulau Pulau yang terasing, sebut Djobo.
Mantan asisten tiga ini berharap agar para generasi muda harus belajar dari kearifan dan kebijakan orang tua dahulu untuk saling merangkul baik dari agama Kristen dan Islam .
Persaudaraan antara kakak- adik pada sembilan kampung yang terdapat lima bangunan mesjid di tetap harmonis ,
“Persaudaraan sejati adalah harta yang Mulia dan memberi hidup bagi banyak orang”, kata Djobo.
Untuk diketahui Prosesi Napak tilas Injil masuk pura dimulai dari rumah suku Lekaduli kemudian diantar dengan tarian adat ke Uma Tukang. Kemudian Alkitab (Injil) dibawa ke Uma Dopu lalu ke Uma Raja kemudian ke Uma Fatang sebagai tempat awal mula pembaptisan pendeta waktu itu. Usai prosesi, rombongan pun bertolak dari Uma Fatang menuju ke Pantai Palakang Pura menggunakan perahu motor.
Prosesi penyerahan Alkitab (Injil) oleh Raja Muda Marzuki Nampira kepada Pendeta Yahya Millu, S.Th yang berdiri diatas sebuah batu yang merupakan sebuah situs sejarah pembaptisan para pendeta tahun 1911.***
