Kalabahi, metroalor.com- Satuan Reskrim Polres Alor telah berkoordinasi dengan Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi (Nakertrans) Provinsi NTT untuk penanganan kasus TPPO yang dilakukan oleh MES (30) mahasiswa asal Kabupaten Malaka kepada 2 remaja Alor WPK (19) dan MJD (18).
Kasat Reskrim Polres Alor, Iptu Jems Yames Mbau, S.Sos yang ditemui jumad 4/8/23 mengatakan, sesuai petunjuk Jaksa, Polres Alor akan melengkapi berkas untuk dilimpahkan kembali ke Kejaksaan, sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku.
“Untuk penanganan kasus TPPO, kami penyidik membutuhkan rekomendasi dari Ahli yang kompeten”, uangkapnya.
Menurutnya, Karena di Kabupaten Alor, belum ada ahli yang bersertifikat, untuk kasus TPPO, maka kami telah bekerjasama dengan Nakertrans Provinsi NTT untuk minta rekomendasi.
Sebelumnya, dilansir media, Kasus TPPO yang bermula tersangka memposting lowongan kerja di akun media sosial miliknya. Lalu kemudian dua korban tersebut tertarik dan mengirim pesan kepada tersangka untuk dipekerjakan sesuai dengan lowongan kerja yang dibuka yakni ART dan penjaga toko.
Selanjutnya, Tersangka memfasilitasi keduanya dari Alor menuju Kupang hingga diberangkatkan ke rumah majikan di Provinsi Jambi.
Selama bekerja, korban merasakan tekanan batin sehingga melaporkan kepada keluarganya, hingga keluarganya mendatangi Polres Alor untuk melaporkan kejadian tersebut, tutur Jems.
Berdasarkan laporan keluarga korban, Satuan Polres Alor bertindak cepat melalui tim penyidik berangkat ke alamat korban di Jambi, pada 22/06/23 untuk memeriksa saksi yang mempekerjakan korban. Setelah itu tim penyidik menangkap tersangka di rumah orangtuanya di Kabupaten Malaka dan dibawa ke Polres Alor, tandasnya.
“Tersangka MES dikenakan Pasal 2 ayat (1) UU Nomor 21 Tahun 2007 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang dengan ancaman penjara paling singkat 3 tahun, paling lama 15 tahun dan pidana denda paling sedikit 120 juta paling banyak 600 juta”, sebut Jems.(Wanka).
