“Terus terang Saya atas nama pimpinan wilayah Muhammadiyah dan pribadi kami menaruh harapan besar kepada pemerintah daerah khususnya kepemimpinan Bupati Alor, Drs Amon Djobo .Kami memantau dari luar, sungguh kami tidak bisa menghitung jasanya.
Saya dalam perjalanan ke Alor besar, di beritahukan pak Ridwan Iho , Beliau sakit sehingga tidak bisa hadir dalam acara ini, tapi ko bisa hadir.Padahal sudah kirim asisten namun mungkin hatinya tidak nyaman sehingga beliau harus hadir”, ujar Profesor Zainur
Ini salah satu bupati yang sangat luar biasa, minta maaf ,bukan pro Islam.Tapi keberpihakan kepada semua masyarakat sangat luar biasa.Beliau hadir langsung dalam penyerahan kejuaraan MTQ di Kupang.
” Saya merasakan benar dan sangat dekat bupati Djobo. Orangnya intelektual tapi bahasanya sangat merakyat, kalau saya mau bilang ini seperti Pak Jokowi ni!. Kalau andai kata bisa tiga periode ,tentu orang akan pilih kembali”, kata Prof Zainur.
Menurut Prof Zainur yang juga rektor Muhammadiyah Kupang atas nama pimpinan wilayah Muhammadiyah NTT menyampaikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya dan penghormatan yang mendalam atas kesatrian bapak Husen Tolang dengan tulus dan ikhlas memberikan jalan kepada kader-kader yang lainnya untuk melanjutkan kepemimpinan Muhammadiyah di Alor .
” Saya menyampaikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya kepada beliau. Rupanya beliau sudah menyiapkan kadernya, itu yang luar biasa. Di situlah kepemimpinan Muhammadiyah. Jangan lari dari kenyataan , atau bangun lari kasih tinggal orang bakalai. Tapi siapkan kader, letakan dasar-dasar yang kokoh agar organisasi terus berjalan”, ujar Prof Zainur.
Pimpinan wilayah Muhammadiyah sangat menaruh harapan besar agar proses rekruitmen dan proses kepemimpinan ini dapat berjalan sebaik-baiknya,dan seharmoni mungkin .Sebagaimana tradisi dan adat budaya serta kekeluargaan di Alor .Jangan buat hal-hal yang menimbulkan sakit hati dan melukai perasaan pengurus .Organisasi Muhammadiyah harus menatap kedepan .Setelah ketua dan pengurus terpilih dan dilantik mohon diperhatikan cabang dan ranting organisasi ini, dan melihat potensi- potensi amal usaha untuk dikembangkan , harapnya.
Sementara itu pimpinan daerah Muhammadiyah alor, Husen Tolang dalam pidatonya menyampaikan terimakasih kepada semua pengurus karena selama 20 tahun jadi ketua Muhammadiyah di alor, semua bisa berjalan dengan aman dan baik karena atas dukungan dan partisipasi semua pihak termaksuk pemerintah, sehingga beberapa amal usaha Muhammadiyah yang awalnya belum ada menjadi ada, dan yang sudah ada terus diberikan dukungan serta dikembangka. sehingga semua bisa berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sampai saat ini.
Misalnya, kata Husen, kampus STKIP Muhammadiyah yang sebelumnya dimulai dengan Kelas khusus Muhammadiyah Kupang, kini berkembang dan telah mempunyai ijin sekolah tinggi. Selain itu, alumni-alumni dari kelas khusus yang terbentur dengan aturan bisa dikordinasi dengan pemerintah kabupaten , sehingga ijasah mereka bisa ada penyesuaian sehingga saat ini ada yang telah menjadi kepala dinas ,kepala sekolah dan sebagainya.
