Kalabahi, metroalor.com- Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Lapang Baru, Desa Kuifana, Kecamatan Abad Selatan, Kabupaten Alor, disegel akibat upah tukang dan martrial lokal warga belum dibayar oleh pemborong .
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Alor, Fredy Lahal, S.H., melalui Sekretaris Disdik Alor, Anton Makoni, ketika ditemui di ruangannya pada 22/8/23 mengatakan, telah memanggil Kepala Sekolah dan Ketua Komite terkait penyegelan sekolah tersebut.
Menurut Anton, upah tukang hak pekerja, sehingga pihak sekolah harus mengumpulkan semua tukang-tukang untuk mendata berapa total biaya yang belum diterima oleh pekerja agar kami sampaikan ke Balai PPK Kementerian PUPR yang menangani proyek ini.Disinyalir sudah ada PPK baru yang menggantikan posisi PPK lama, Pak Eko, tambah Anton .
SD N Lapang Baru merupakan salah satu dari 14 sekolah yang direhabilitasi dan renovasi pasca bencana seroja pada tahun 2022. Program ini dilaksanakan oleh Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah, Kementerian PUPR dan sampai saat ini gedung sekolah tersebut masih tercatat sebagai aset Balai, belum ada penyerahan ke Disdik Kabupaten Alor.
“Kita berterima kasih terhadap Balai Kementrian PUPR Propinsi NTT, karena sudah membantu infrastruktur pendidikan Alor. Tapi persoalannya, kenapa membantu setengah-setengah, bukan menyelesaikan persoalan, tetapi menambah persoalan baru,”ujarnya
Sementara itu pada proses penandatanganan kontrak, kami tidak pernah dilaporkan kontraktor dan sub kontraktor yang menangani pekerjaan sekolah serta nilai anggaran, jumlah paket, dan lain sebagainya. Sekarang terjadi persoalan, semua pendukung sekolah mengeluh ke Dinas, tuturnya.
“Saya sudah sampaikan bahwa proses belajar mengajar harus tetap jalan. Karena yang sekolah di tempat itu bukan anak-anak dari kampung lain, tapi kita punya anak-anak sendiri.”
Anton berharap media dan aparat penegak hukum(APH) bisa bantu menelusuri kasus ini, agar persoalan upah tukang ini bisa menemui titik terang.
Kepala Sekolah SDN Lapang Baru, Johanes Malaipen, S.Pd., ketika dikonfirmasi via telepon pada Selasa 22/08, membenarkan bahwa telah terjadi penyegelan di sekolahnya.
“Betul telah terjadi penyegelan yang dilakukan oleh tukang dan pemilik material non lokal pada proyek sekolah tersebut, sejak 19 Agustus 2023,” ujarnya.
“Saya telah bertemu dengan Sekretaris Disdik, dan telah diarahkan untuk mengumpulkan pihak-pihak yang terkait yang berhubungan dengan penyegelan sekolah itu,” katanya.
Menurutnya, akan berupaya secepatnya agar proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) tetap berjalan sebagaimana mestinya.
Kita tidak bisa menyalahkan para tukang karena ini menyangkut dengan hak-hak mereka. Akses anak-anak untuk bersekolah dan belajar tetap berjalan karena bagaimanapun juga ini anak-anak kita yang bersekolah, tandasnya.
