ABAD, METROALOR.COM- Bupati Alor, Drs. Amon Djobo, M.A.P., meresmikan mezbah dan mengukuhkan 20 orang anggota lembaga adat rumpun akham, dari dua kecamatan yakni, Alor Barat Daya dan Abad Selatan, Kabupaten Alor, tepatnya di halaman Kantor Camat Abad, pada Senin, 04/09/2033.
Dalam sambutanya Bupati Djobo mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pihak dan mengatakan adat, pemerintah dan agama merupakan tiga batu tungku yang tidak bisa dipisahkan.
“Adat, pemerintah, dan agama harus berjalan seimbang dan bersama-sama, tidak boleh salah satunya duluan, dan satu di belakang. Tiga komponen tersebut ibaratnya sebuah tungku yang menghimpun semua manusia Alor di dalam. Lembaga adat yang terbentuk saat ini merupakan sesuatu yang luar biasa.Karena telah memberikan nilai adatiah yang baik untuk generasi yang akan datang agar generasi bisa belajar dari kearifan, kebajikan, kebijakan, hal-hal baik adat untuk dilanjutkan,”jelasnya.
Menurutnya , lembaga adat ini awalnya merupakan idenya , sebelum ada lembaga adat Kabupaten. Karena ketika menjadi Camat di Alor Timur dirinya anggap adat tidak jelas sebab masing-masing melakukan dan menterjemahkan adatnya . Sehingga Ia berpikir Harus ada satu kelompok adat, untuk menyatukan semua kegiatan adat.
Setelah lembaga adat dibentuk Kabupaten Alor menjadi contoh untuk penyederhanaan belis untuk urusan kawin mawin secara adatiah, tuturnya
“Salah satu pemicu kemiskinan di masyarakat yakni adat. Perempuan diperalat dengan adat yang tinggi akhirnya dia sampai tidak menikah”, katanya.
Maka harapannya, dengan dikukuhkan lembaga adat ini akan menumbuhkan nilai adat yang baik.
Pengukuhan Lembaga adat ini adalah sejarah yang tidak bisa kita lupakan. Sebab itu harus tumbuhkan adat ini secara baik sehingga semua orang harus belajar hal-hal baik untuk generasi yang akan datang,tandasnya.
Sementara Camat Alor Barat Daya, Yapi Nikodas Hinglir, S.P mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Bupati, lembaga adat, masyarakat serta semua pihak yang telah membantu sejak prosesi adat hingga pengukuhan lembaga adat.
“Terima kasih bapak Bupati, disela-sela kesibukan telah bersama kami masyarakat Alor Barat Daya dan Abad Selatan, dalam tugas pemerintahan, melayani masyarakat untuk memberikan penguatan dan motivasi kepada kami. Saya mengucapkan terima kasih, proficiat, penghormatan, dan penghargaan kepada seluruh orang tua yang di masa senja masih memberi diri, pikiran, dan tenaga untuk memberikan topangan terhadap kerja-kerja pemerintah di wilayah Kabupaten Alor untuk mensukseskan Alor Sehat, Alor Kenyang dan Alor Pintar. Terima kasih untuk seluruh proses yang telah kita lewati bersama mulai dari pengantaran nekara asli dengan prosesi adat, proses pembangunan mezbah, kubran dan kegiatan hari ini,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya mezbah yang didirikan di halaman kantor Camat Alor Barat Daya, sebagai simbol adat, bahwa pemerintah ditopang oleh kekuatan adatiah, semoga dua kecamatan ini dapat berjalan dalam restu arwah dan leluhur.
Harapannya lembaga sakral yang sudah dibentuk ini menjadi organisasi yang solid dan mengemban misi untuk membangun orang Alor Barat Daya dan Abad Selatan .Dia juga mohon izin kepada Bupati dan Kadis PMD agar lembaga ini diberikan dispensasi menggunakan dana APBDes untuk pembiayaan operasional organisasi di tahun 2024. Sehingga kerja, dan koordinasi lewat lembaga adat ini tidak hanya melestarikan adat, tetapi punya kekuatan membangun wilayah ini,” ungkapnya.
Acara pengukuhan di lanjutkan dengan penyerahan tongkat kepemimpinan ketua lembaga dari Costantin Laumalay kepada Lukas Mailani sebagai Ketua yang baru, dilanjutkan dengan penandatanganan berita acara.
Selain itu , Bapak Amon Djobo dikukuhkan sebagai sesepuh lembaga adat. Peresmian mezbah ditandai dengan penyiraman tuak adat pada tugu mezbah. (Wanka).
